Texture Folders

EOD supports three different texture folders. This might be confusing for beginners, but is an important feature for advanced users. If you create a scenery you must place the used textures into a folder where FlightSimulator expects these textures.
The first path is the common FS texture path
the second the project dependant texture path which is saved in the EOD file.
The third is used for drafts. Normally you don't need the third texture path.

If FlightSimulator was installed in "C:\fs\" , your scenery project would (as an example) be located in "C:\fs\scenery\project01\". That means, all BGL files in
"C:\fs\scenery\project01\scenery\" and all texture files in
"C:\fs\scenery\project01\texture\"
If you make a second scenery project, it will have all BGL files in
"C:\fs\scenery\project02\scenery\" and all texture files in
"C:\fs\scenery\project02\texture\"

That means the "project texture path" for your first project would be "C:\fs\scenery\project01\texture\". Go to the menu Project->File information to change this texture path.

Textures which are used be different scenery projects can be put into the "C:\fs\texture\" folder.
This is the texture path of FlightSimulator with all standard textures. In EOD, it is called "FS texture folder". Go to the menu Project->Options->Paths to change this texture path.

All texture paths can also be changed in the texture selection.
