Putting your object into Airport 2.6
- First create your object using EOD (See: Your own object
and The first object).
- In your 'Airport 2.6'-scenery, right click at the required position and from the floating menu select 'Create 3d Object'.
- In the dialog box that appears, click on 'user api', and then 'select'.
- Change into the right directory to find your API file. (e.g. C:\program files\eod\)
- From the directory box, choose your api file and click ok
- Your object has now been placed in your scenery in Airport 2.6.
- In the top right corner of the dialog box previously mentioned is the 'Scale' function. This is normally satisfactory to leave at 1.00. With a scale of 1.00, one unit in EOD should be one meter in
FS. With a scale of 0.10, ten units in EOD
will be one meter in FS. If you have used the fixed scale feature (standard),
then this scale setting won't have any affect on the object.
- In FS2000/2002 go to the scenery library and click ok to reload your scenery
- Airport 2.6 comes with a comprehensive help file for further information.
